Lord Ganesha puja give blessings to remove all obstacles and move to the rise of success.Ganpati Chaturthi is most important for such people who go to start their business or enterprise. The body of Ganesh is like a human but an elephant's head. He is the son of Lord Shiva and Devi Parvati. Ganesh gives us the fortune and helps us with avoiding natural calamities. Other names of Lord Ganesh are Vinayaka, Ekadanti, Ganapati, Pillaiyar, and Heramba.
This year Ganesh Festival 2018 has come on September 13 and celebration will go till on 23 September and the last day of Ganesh Festival called Anant Chaturdasi day. Beautifully handcrafted idols of Lord Ganesh are installed in our home and public place. Shodashopachara Puja organized with 16 step and during the ritual sweets, coconuts, Laddo, and flowers have offered.
Ganesh festival is most widely celebrated festival in India and outer side of our country also. Lord Ganesh is the First Lord for worship and without Lord Ganesha puja, no any other worship will be a success. According to our Hindu calendar month of Bhaadrapada which starts on the Shukla Chaturthi ( fourth day of the waxing moon) which date is between 19 August and 20 September.
A tradition maintain on Ganpati Chaturthi
Ganesh festival has a traditional importance, not to look at the moon during certain times on Ganpati Chaturthi. If a person looks at the moon than he can fell dishonored by the public and society.
Chaturdasi means “fourteenth” and the day is devoted to the worship of Lord Anant or Lord Vishnu. (Lord Vishnu is our preserver and sustainer).The Hindu calendar during the month of Bhadrapada brings half of the moon.
Ganpati Chaturthi is the biggest festival of Maharashtra and some other states like Andhra Pradesh, Gujrat, Karnata, West Bengal also celebrated this festival. Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh celebrated this festival for ten days.
The Ganesh idol placed under Bodhi Trees. Bodhi tree is a great source of remedies and it used to treat up to fifty different ailments. The tree can produce Oxygen at night time. It also a worship and a great healer to cure illness. Clay idols of Lord Ganesh are placed in the home or outdoor with decorated tents for people to view and pay their homage.
